Took a trip down to Mino-o during the weekend, to visit the Mino-o Falls, that another check off the places to visit while in Osaka. Currently it is now June, thus, avoided the peak period so it was not crowded and was really enjoyable + relaxing...
cute city mascot statue - YUZURU , a Samurai with a tender heart called “Takinomichi Yuzuru”.
If you are adventurous person, you might like to take the stairs. But the lazy me decided to just follow the rest of the human beings who just walk the normal path as it will also lead right to the waterfall.
shall just let the photos do the description of the path leading to the waterfall ~
...
Kids playing at the stream below.
half way ..
Where does this path leads to? By the way, suggest to follow the normal path to the falls first, cause this path will lead to another place, which I not sure where. Maybe next time I will be more adventurous ...
finally reaching the falls after 45 mins plus of walking / trekking ...
One of the great thing about here is that they have seats right infront of the fall, for people to just sit down there and enjoy the scenery.
a photo of evil Pikachu as usual.
apparently most of the big trees have number tag onto them ...
doesn't this give a feeling that you are in a Ghibli movie? like the My Neighbour Totoro?
...
Here the location:
〒562-0002 Ōsaka-fu, Minoo-shi, Minookōen, 2 箕面公園
You can take the train from Umeda Hyakyu Line (track 4 or 5) and change at Ishibashi Station, it's a 45 minutes plus minus journey. Once you reach Mino-o station, there is actually foot spa you can visit, but I gave those a miss since my aim was to visit the waterfall.
By the way, it is free entry to the park, but be prepare to walk a little distant to see the waterfall ~
